Financial Assistance and Family Support
Pine Belt Down Syndrome Outreach is committed to supporting families in our community through scholarships, grants, and direct assistance. These programs help ease financial challenges and ensure that every individual with Down syndrome has the opportunity to reach their full potential. PBDSO will award four separate scholarships or financial gifts per year.

The following criteria must be met:
-
For Spring, Summer, and Fall Scholarships: The recipient family must use the scholarship for an extra curricular activity, camp, or inclusive sport.
-
For Winter Scholarships: The recipient family will receive a financial gift to assist with the family's Christmas gifts.
-
For all four scholarships, the recipient family should have a child or immediate family member with Down syndrome, and the scholarship or financial gift should be used for that individual.
