The Pine Belt Down Syndrome Outreach promotes public awareness and acceptance of the value and worth of individuals with Down syndrome, provides resources and support to individuals with Down syndrome and their families through local outreach, and advocates for intentionally inclusive spaces and communities.

We envision a future where every individual with Down syndrome is treated with dignity and respect and given every opportunity to participate and be fully welcomed and included in every aspect of their respective communities.

OUR COMMUNITY
The Pine Belt Down Syndrome Outreach provides support, resources, social connection, and advocacy for individuals with Down syndrome in the following counties in South Mississippi: Covington, Forrest, Greene, Jefferson Davis, Jones, Lamar, Marion, Perry, and Wayne. We provide services to individuals and families in the following cities: New Augusta, Prentiss, Ellisville, Lumberton, Laurel, Leakesville, Hattiesburg, Brookhaven, Bassfield, Collins, Columbia, Petal, Purvis, Richton, Sandersville, Soso, State Line, Sumrall, Waynesboro, and Bay Springs.
